What inspired you to start your business?
I started the business to help people in need and also to create a healthy work/life balance for myself and my family.
What challenges have you faced as a woman in business?
The biggest challenge I've faced as a woman in business is balancing parenting along with running a business.
What’s the best business advice you’ve ever received?
Develop strong relationships with bankers and lenders, don't seek funding when you need it, and have a plan in-place ahead of time (line of credit, etc.).
In what ways has your membership in WPO impacted your personal or professional life?
WPO has opened up a whole new world of strong, successful like minded female businesswomen. Never having a peer group in business before joining WPO has been transformative and impacted my ability to grow and scale the business
What are your goals or aspirations moving forward, both within WPO and in your personal/professional life?
As we are scaling/growing the business, we hope to see a 50% growth in sales within 3 years, a shift from mainly residential work to commercial work, and a stand-alone reconstruction department for our customers.
What lesson have you learned that you can share with other women entrepreneurs?
